geoDefense Swarm is an incredibly bright and colorful game for Windows Phone of the genre of Tower Defense designed in a fantastic style with neon shades. In general, it will surely appeal to all fans of the genre and it is not only because of the design. It is clear that in this game you will find not the usual enemies, and weapons that you will shoot with, can hardly be called ordinary.
Game featuresThe main schtick of the game is that the playing field in most levels will be virtually free of obstacles, and even if you run into some partitions, there will be an incredibly small number of them. On this basis, it is easy to guess that you are faced with having to assign the route of the enemy army, and should use this opportunity to the maximum benefit. Generally speaking, in order to inflict maximum damage to the enemy, you need to build something like a maze of a variety of guns causing the enemy army to wander around the playing field as long as possible.
Weaponry, upgrade and gameplay nuancesThere are not so many weapons in the game as we would like, but they can be upgraded a huge amount of time. Unlike those games in which it was advisable to proceed as quickly as possible to upgrade existing guns, here it is better first to place the maximum number of guns on the playing field. This way you will make the enemy dodge and have time to earn more money for the further development of defense. The most difficult part of the game is the fact that in some levels the enemy will appear on the battlefield from different points (marked with green hexagon), and he will have several points of destinations (red hexagons).
In such cases, it is pretty hard to build a maze, and you will have to think about how to make the enemy army go most of the way by the same tools. The problem will be complicated by the lacking of the in-game currency, which is why you simply will not be able to deliver the desirable amount of guns around each green hexagon. Of course, the game will not end because of a couple enemies missed into your territory, but it should be possible to complete the level entirely without losses, and it is quite interesting to search for such an opportunity.
ResumeIn the free version you have the opportunity to play a few levels of different difficulty modes. To get access to all challenges you will have to pay for the game. The advantages of the graphics don't come to end with the neon design and will surely delight you with special effects of enemies exploding or having wormed their way into your territory. The sound is not anything extraordinary but fits into the gameplay.
