Review Pixel Tower Defense
One of the worst tower defense games I've ever played

Cool design, money isn't hard to come by
Way too many ads, too few waves, only 10 levels
I feel like it's difficult to make a bad tower defense game. They've been around for such a long time, and there are so many cookie cutter ways to create a good one that it just seems impossible. Today I was proven wrong. The first time I opened Pixel Tower Defense for Android I was immediately presented with an ad. I mean this was before I was even presented with a title screen. Little did I know that was the perfect introduction to the game.
Gameplay is absolutely horrid. There are unimaginative levels that consist of anywhere between one and three waves of enemies. Sometimes you'll beat a level before realizing anything even happened. Strategy is non-existent. All you need to do is build towers in a line because enemies are too weak to survive against more than a handful of towers thrown right next to each other.
The UI is equally bad. When you click a square to place a tower, you're presented with three options that are all too small to see, much less actually choose a specific tower. It's like a game of Russian roulette, but with towers.
All in all, the game would have probably taken about 15 minutes to beat, but there is a 30 second ad shoved in your face every chance the game gets to do so. It feels more like a vehicle set to show you ads than a real game.
Do yourself a favor and skip Pixel Tower Defense. It's a poor excuse for a tower defense game, and your time is much more valuable than wasting it on this.
