Zombie Road Trip for Android is a simple yet addictive arcade style game. Drive fast and do killer stunts while killing zombies that are chasing you.
Zombie Road Trip is actually a hybrid of the fun favorite, Road Trip. The original objective of this game was to drive fast, do ridiculous flips and tricks and go as far as you can. In this edition, you’re being chased by zombies which definitely ups the ante; go too slow or land poorly, and they’ll swarm your car and eat your delicious flesh. Yummy yummy in our decomposing tummies!
The action is fast paced and the controls are excellent. There’s no brake or accelerator; it’s just full tilt from the word go. Tap the right side of the screen to make the car do front flips, tap the left side of the screen to make it do back flips. It’s possible to get lots of hang time and do some pretty outrageous combo stunts to earn extra points. And the added element of zombies effectively adds some angst to the mix. Not only is a swarm of them chasing you, but more zombies also appear in front of, and above your car, and you have to blast them to bits while still driving fast and doing aerial stunts.
The animation is simple yet effectively entertaining. The sounds are funny and appropriate... And yup, the game is really addictive. You can waste a lot of money on upgrades and alternate cars, or just play for free and earn what you earn.
Zombie Road Trip is good fun and a decent timekiller. It’s the sort of game I play to death, get bored with, then rediscover it down the road and get addicted all over again.
