Review Bliss - Icon Pack

Jay Feldman
7.9Good
Interesting functionality, nice interface, simple design
Weak functionality, not enough of settings
Bliss - Icon Pack for Android wants to help you redecorate your prized gizmo with a whole new set of icons to admire and ogle over. Think Ikea but for cell phones, and the good news is, you won't kill an entire day shopping for icons, nor will there be anything to assemble when you get home.
Bliss - Icon Pack displays in portrait and landscape modes, because it's just flexible that way. The app opens to reveal a high impact, vertically scrolling interface, featuring colorful banners with headline text. The first one says Apply Theme, and is where the included icon pack can be applied to various launchers you may or may not already have installed on your device. You really can't make use of these icons without selecting one of the approved launchers, which include, Action, Nova, Apex, ADW, Smart, Aviate, Next, Go, Atom and Holo. Tapping the "more launchers" link will open a dialog that shows what launchers you have installed, then, it's as simple as applying this icon theme to that launcher, and voila, a bunch of new icons to enjoy.
The app functions well, largely because it does almost nothing. Installing an icon pack takes very little time or effort. The app also includes a bunch of wallpapers to choose from and install; some are static, some are live with movement. There's some cool ones to choose from, so you're sure to find something to match your newly installed icons. There's a menu icon on the top left that opens a side drawer with selections like, home, wallpapers, theme icons, request icons and settings. The theme icons tab is where you can view all the available icons before applying them.
Bliss - Icon Pack is a decent icon pack. If redecorating your gizmo sounds like fun, then this app is worth checking out.
