It's I Spy for adults

Fun gameplay, lots of cases, well written story
Gameplay can wear on you, hints eventually cost you money
Like playing an adult version of I Spy, Hidden Artifacts for Android is a game where you're tasked with finding clues for various case files that you're working on. For fans of games like this, there is a well written story that also acts as filler in between each puzzle.
Jumping into the game, you're given very little in terms of story. From clues, you gather that you're an investigator that seems to be trying to get back into the game after a break. Soon after the short introduction, you're thrown into your first case, in which you're told is just to help you get your feet back in the water.
Most of the puzzles involve finding specific items that are listed on the screen, below the static background. What you'll do is search throughout the background in an effort to locate said items. What makes this difficult is the fact that you don't have any visual aid in what the object might look like, so some items you're less familiar with will take longer to find.
While you're searching for the pieces to the mystery you'll be timed. If you make a series of incorrect guesses then you'll find yourself being docked for time. Fortunately, there are hints that you can get along the way, though I never felt like I really needed to use them.
Now, I'm not a huge fan of games like Hidden Artifacts, but I did find myself sort of getting lost just finding things hidden in each picture. For what it is, it's not bad. Fans of games like this will enjoy it, though I'm not sure many others will.
