Neat graphics, interesting plot, addictive game play, simple controls
Tiny Survivor for Android is a fun action game that forces you to survive out in the wilderness. You are given basic tools, and you must collect resources to make your tools more powerful.
The concept of this game is based around the idea that death is inevitable. There is no real way to survive forever. Despite this, the game challenges players to keep surviving for as long as possible, and there are a variety of ways players can do this. When a player starts, they'll be placed next to a campfire. The campfire can heal a player's health. If a player explores the areas nearby, he'll be able to find tree nodes and iron deposit nodes. Both of these can be mined for resources simply by moving the character next to the nodes.
As you play, various creatures will enter into the camp and will attempt to attack you. You can use the attack button to fight back, but you'll find that it's almost impossible to kill creatures without taking a bit of damage yourself. After all of your health is gone, you will die and the game will be over. To stand a better chance of surviving, you can use the collected resources to make better tools. Improved tools can increase your mining capacity, attack damage, health and campfire healing potential.
You'll notice that the graphics in this game are 8-bit style. Personally, I think the graphics work pretty well here. The gameplay is simple, and the graphics don't need to be overly complicated.
Tiny Survivor is free, and there are no in-app purchases in this game, but there are advertisements.
