Get Bigger! Mola for Android is a goofy replay game that takes place in the great blue ocean. Guide a weird looking fishy through the waters, gobbling up little organisms, all while trying not to get eaten yourself. This one is monotonous and only marginally entertaining.
Get Bigger! Mola displays in portrait to depict a side scrolling aquatic adventure in pristine waters. You're the weird looking blue fishy, and your mission, is to gobble up all the yummy morsels and go as far as you can to best your last score. The problem is, there's also humongous crustaceans in these waters, and if you so much as touch one of them, you're dead. The mechanics are crude and unrefined by design; this is one of those games that's all about the promise of fun, yet only delivers tedious frustration, as it is wholly unplayable by design.
The controls use a lone screen tap to make your fishy hop like a frog through these blue waters; yup, it looks as stupid as it sounds. The graphics feature vibrant, primary colors and cartoonish visuals that are appealing and look better than the game plays. The animation is quite lively and energetic, with decent renders to match. The sounds are simple and highly repetitive, but the good news is, you'll never play for very long in one stretch, so you won't be hearing much of the monotonous score anyway.
Get Bigger! Mola is flat out tedious and boring. I hate games that are designed to be unplayable; it's the antithesis of gaming.
