Neat graphics, interesting plot, simple controls
Too easy, very common, bores you really quickly
Space Bounties Inc. for Android is a tried and true fantasy combat game with turn by turn mechanics. Combat alien enemies and capture them to collect the bounty. This is actually one of the better games from this genre and is sure to please diehard fans.
Space Bounties Inc. displays in landscape to deliver a truly interesting premise. As the story goes, the galaxy is filled with some really bad aliens who are up to no good. Your mission, is to summon your ragtag band of intergalactic soldiers and hunt down bad guys like mangy vermin so you can collect the bounty. The good news is, it seems like they're all wanted dead or alive, which makes things much simpler for an intergalactic bounty hunter. Shoot first, ask questions later; or more accurately, shoot fists, then wait your turn to shoot again. The play is very predictable and slow moving, but somehow manages to remain lively and entertaining, which is saying a lot for this genre. Just strategize your best move and keep blasting until you're the last Martian standing.
The controls use basic screen taps to deliver the goods, so nothing complicated there. The graphics aim for pixel territory, yet wisely retain some nice details, with a rich color palate that feels inviting. The animation is simple but decent, with modestly interesting visual feedback. The sounds are simple, offering basic punctuation and a decent score that gets overbearing and monotonous before long.
Space Bounties Inc. doesn't break new ground or offer anything even remotely innovative, however, it strikes a good balance between retro and modern to set itself apart from the rest.
