Too easy, very common
Jolly Jam for Android offers tried and true match 3 play with yummy looking juicy fruits that look so good you may just lick your screen. This one manages to bring a little something new to the mix, offering solid play and a quality presentation that's sure to be a hit with match 3 fans.
Jolly Jam displays in portrait to follow the same basic premise of most all match 3 games; there's a grid populated with an array of vibrantly yummy looking fruits, and your mission, is to make matches of 3 or more, causing all matched fruits to disappear in a vibrant colorful explosion. The lone difference here over other match 3 games, is rather than swiping individual game pieces to make your matches, you're actually drawing boxes and rectangles, spanning from one game piece, and ending on a matching color. Your drawn boxes and shapes can be small or large, but they gotta start and end with the same colored piece. Once all your juicy goodies are enclosed, just release your finger to watch all matching colors within the drawn shape explode. It's fun and cool.
The controls use screen touches and drags to draw your basic rectangle and square shapes, and executing this simple action gets a little tricky as the game board itself changes shape and layout with each new level. The graphics are vibrantly delicious and made me hungry. The animation has some really fun explosions of color and visual triggers. And the sounds are upbeat and inviting.
Jolly Jam is a quality match 3 game with just enough twists to make it stand apart from the rest. Enjoy.
