Neat graphics, interesting levels, addictive game play, simple controls
Firewater Cowboy Chase is a fun endless runner game that has no levels or stages. Players can keep running until they are caught by the indians chasing behind. Whilst playing, players can collect coins and bottles for power-ups and to build up their in-game currency to purchase items after the game has ended.
Like most other endless runners, the concept of this game is simple, and the controls are on the same level. Your character will automatically run forward in this game, but you can control his jumping and his sliding. There will be a variety of different objects in the stage, and players will need to use the jump and slide controls to dodge these obstacles. Getting hit by an obstacle will slow you down, and hitting too many obstacles will eventually lead your character to get caught by the indians, ending the game.
Whilst playing, you can jump or double jump to collect coins, and these can be spent on cool cosmetic items for your cowboy to wear. There is also a unique leveling system that will level up your cowboy after playing. Every time you level up, your cowboy will increase his base running speed. Reaching certain level milestones will also unlock new environments for you to run in.
On top of the unique gameplay elements, there is also a story that has been played out via an animated comic strip. The story isn't very in-depth, but it is still nice to have it there.
In summary, this game uses the endless runner genre and makes it fresh and exciting. There are plenty of unique features that make it worthwhile to come back to the game again and again. Firewater Cowboy Chase is free, but there are a range of cosmetic items that can only be purchased with real money.
