Neat graphics, lots of levels, interesting game play, simple controls
Do you think you have what it takes to drive a dolmus? In Dolmus Driver for Android, you will take to the roads at high speeds as you pick up and drop off passengers, whilst dodging incoming traffic and keeping out of sight of the cops.
As the name of the game suggests, you will be driving a dolmus; a shared taxi that follows a set route with certain stops along the way. However, in this game, you are handed strict deadlines, and you will need to reach each drop off point within a very short time period. Because of this, you will need to put your pedal to the metal, and drive in and out of traffic to get to each drop off point on time.
Along the way, you will be able to pick up more passengers by driving into the allocated passenger zones, and also use different power-ups and boosts to get to your location quicker. If you drive too recklessly, the police may be alerted; and hitting into a vehicle at full speed will end your run.
Once you finish a mission, you will be rewarded with coins, which is the base currency of the game. Your coins can be spent on new upgrades for your vehicle, new maps to play on, or even different characters to play as. The interface has been laid out very neatly, and the unique art style for the in-game graphics are one of the high points of the game. The level designs differ in length and complexity, but for the most part, the gameplay stays the same throughout each level.
There are in-app purchases in Dolmus Driver which will allow you to unlock new upgrades, characters, and levels; but aside from this the game is completely free.
