Great intuitive interface, looks like pen and paper
There are already a lot of tasking apps
24Me for Android is a powerful task manager that has a variety of features including: an easy but deep reminder system, intuitive design and performance, and outside application management from the inside of the app. Regardless to say, 24Me has some interesting features especially the integration with social media accounts and bank management. The whole app has a bright but simple UI that might be a little too minimalist for the purposes of the app; but I can’t deny that it looks good and feels light.
The design of the app feels very “paper” like and interactive. The font is clear and sharp, and thinly black. Making a task is very simple, and when you make a task you are given the option to make a certain kind of task; whether it is a phone call, a text message, or some other sort of reminder. I liked this simplicity and helpful way that the app has of getting you somewhere outside of the app. For example, when you set a reminder to text someone, you will get that reminder with an icon that takes you right. That is, start a text with that person in your contact list to text. Getting rid of a task is even simpler, as you just swipe the task and it's immediately crossed out with a line. Hence, why I said this app feels very “paper-like”.
There are other convenient and smart things within the app as well. You can set priorities, add notes, and there is even a later tab which is a super cool idea. I can’t tell you how many times I had a task that I needed to be reminded about, but I wasn’t ready to get to - only to forget about it because It got buried with other created tasks.
24me is a deceptively simple app that has a lot going for it. It looks simpler than it is, and some may feel a little overwhelmed at features that pop out inside a seemingly simple interface. But those who plug through the app and understand it, will find a powerful task management app, that not only looks great, but feels great too.
