Quality soundtrack, neat graphics, convenient controls
If there was a Guinness world record for the strangest dream, it might just go to the main character of Endless Doves for Android. In this game, you can control the character through a dream world as he flies through the air powered by nothing more than his stream of snoring Z's. The concept of the game is very strange, but it's surprisingly fun to play.
In this game, you will have two controls, one on either side of the screen - the right side control will rotate your character to the right, and the left side control will rotate the character to the left. The character will automatically move forward, and it's your job to steer him clear of any obstacles that get in the way. It doesn't sound all that hard, but there are a lot of obstacles, and there are more goals to achieve on top of keeping the snoozing character from hitting his head on a brick wall.
If you want to try and aim for a high score, you must try to collect doves as you fly past obstacles. The doves are usually in hard to reach places, which makes going for extra points surprisingly tricky. As you collect doves, you'll notice that they will start to follow the sleeping character as he flies through dream world. I personally really like this approach to displaying score, as it blends right into the game environment, which has been crafted beautiful.
On top of the great 2D graphics, the background music and sound effects for this game are on par too, and there isn't anything stopping this game from coming short of being classed as a very good arcade title.
Endless Doves is absolutely free, although to remove ads you will need to pay for the pro version of the game.
