Needs to be elaborated
Unfortunately many online social networks limit character length, sometimes making it incredibly hard to send out that perfect Tweet, status update or other message, but with URL Shortener for Android, you can keep links to a minimum to help save yourself a few extra characters.
Perfect for those that just can't say goodbye to their perfect grammar on places like Twitter, this app makes it incredibly easy to turn long links into Goo.gl links with the tap of a button. Once a link has been shortened, not only can you easily copy it to any place on the web, but you can also head back into the app to pick up some interesting information from each of your shortened links.
When you tap on each link within the app, it will open up into a separate page, and from here you will be provided with data and charts on details such as total clicks, referrers, browsers used by those clicking on your links, and click location. You can also limit your data to certain time periods to see how much traffic is being pulled in from the places you are sharing these links.
Link analysis tools like this are not uncommon, but this particular app manages to make shortening URLS and tracking data incredibly easy. Besides from the one-time Google sign-in, setting up the app is incredibly easy, and once you are in the app, you are good to go. It would make sense that any business relying on social media as a form of marketing will find use in this app, but it's not just businesses that will benefit. Twitter enthusiasts should love this app too, thanks to it's incredibly easy link shortening process.
Whether you run social media profiles for a business, or you are personally active on places like Twitter, URL shortener will come in handy for you.
