Review Life360

Tariq Abdulla
Interesting functionality, fully-featured free version, no ads
Could do with an intermediate subscription level
Life 360 for Android is a family/friends location sharing app with some very handy features. For starters, you can create multiple circles for different groups of people - so you can use one app to share your location with different groups of people at different times.
Life 360 has a 'family map', which helpfully shows the location of everyone in the circle (currently sharing their location) on the same map. The location information is very accurate, even without GPS switched on.
There's a panic button, which after an alarming 10 second countdown will contact everyone in your circle, by phone text and email, and give them your location. This should provide some peace of mind.
You can add places, with a radius, and choose to be notified when other members arrive or leave these places. I message my partner every day to tell her I'm leaving work, but occasionally end up staying for another 30mins. With Life 360 installed, she will be able to see that I haven't really left yet, and start pestering me to get my ass moving.
Life 360 doesn't have the ETA features provided by some other location sharing apps, but set against this it is simple and easy to use. With multiple circles, and the ability to add 2 places for free, Life 360 is a convenient ad-free way to share your location, and be automatically notified when your family leave work or home. Adding more than 2 places requires a subscription of $4.99 per month or $50 a year.

It's probably because you need sim card... but you can get around this by getting the code sent to your phone. Try it here :
