Light version of the famous browser

Functions quickly, simple interface, saves your traffic, good design, simple interface, elaborated design
Not customizable enough, not enough of settings
Opera Mini is a light version of the famous browser for Android. The application is distinguished by its tiny size of just 900 kb and ability to compress traffic, therefore making it possible for you to cut down on Internet expenses. The app features a simple interface, decent design, and functions really quickly.
Actually, this application is not exactly what we’re accustomed to mean when we say the word ‘browser’. It’s simply a program that transfers your traffic through Opera’s servers, compresses it, and sends it back to you.
Both the advantages and drawbacks of this method are crystal clear. Among the former are quick functioning and traffic saving, whilst the latter features absence of Flash animation and inability to visit certain websites that have a sophisticated design. The app feature a built-in website catalogue, smart graphic bookmarks, home page notifications, and adaptive RSS feed.
Opera Mini is a great and tiny browser for Android which will become the perfect fit for those people who either want to spare some traffic or happen to use devices that are not powerful enough. Among the app drawbacks is its limited functionality.
