Great Design, wide array of options
Additional features are in the form of addon packs
Month Calendar Widget takes after the popular new Android L design and incorporates the design philosophy it into a beautiful widget. The calendar sits on any one of your home screens and can be used to schedule events.
To an extent, you can't really give a calendar that many options to make it useful. In order to be useful, it has to be simple, good looking, and perform well. The developers behind the widget understood these three things and modeled the app around it. You simply stick the app on as a widget, and then you can tape a date to add an event. The add event looks smooth and neat as well, with a nice check mark. From there, you can give the event details and sync it with your preferred calendar.
Month Calendar Widget prides itself on it's simplicity, but that doesn't mean there isn't a deep amount of theme options available. There are a wide array of different palettes and designs to chose from. The theme options available are diverse, and many look different from each other. My favorite were the ones that looked like Google Now cards. They have white backgrounds, blue numbers, and colorful artwork at the top. With each selected them, there are even more options to customize it to your liking. For instance, on the Google Now looking card, you might change the top artwork.
I can see Month Calendar Widget becoming an essential for a busy business person or some type of scheduler. For someone who never uses calendars much, even I am drawn to the application because of how it sits where I need it to and looks good doing it.
Month Calendar Widget is a great application for those who love ease of use, simplicity, and good design without sacrificing function.
