Skyro Voice Recorder for Android is an app that aims to redefine a common voice recording app into something more elegant, useful, and functional.
To start recording, you simply click the record button on the main page of the app. This makes recording something very quick and easy, which in my opinion, should be a strong point of the app. Here, it excels and the simple recording expands into other settings and options.
After that, you can find your recording on a neat timeline that arranges your recordings by the times in which you recorded. When you tap each recording, you will get additional information about the recording. You can see where you recorded the memo (if you chose this option) and other details, like when it was created, the size, and format. The location makes this app great for travel journalism. You could potentially record your voice at different locations, and then see the respective dates and the locations where you recorded voice, or even the setting's sound. Perhaps bird sounds, tourist sounds, or even other sounds from an theme park.
To make organization easier, the application also has tags in which you can classify recordings. If you have recordings for work, you could tag work, and for family, family. There is also an ability to share onto SoundClound. This might be interesting for live music.
Skyro comes with many colored themes that are soft and clean, with additional themes available for purchase. If you are in the market for a new recording app, this is a good choice. It's organization and management of audio clips really makes it stand out above it's competition, and it's minimalist interface makes for a pleasant user experience. I prefer it over stock apps that are similar, because of its clean functionality.
