Quality graphics, lots of levels, simple controls
Very common, greedy donation system
Time Gap Hidden Object Mystery for Android is a highly developed search and find style game with a few interesting twists. Just be wary of the high priced upgrades.
Time Gap Hidden Object Mystery is very nicely presented. The game features an interactive map highlighting all the different locations to explore. Levels can be opened up via patience and play, or you can spend virtual coin to unlock the ones that entice you early. The locations can be as chic as an outdoor Italian café, or as mundane as a messy office. Along the bottom of the screen, you’ll see a list of objects you need to find. Just scan the scene to find as many as you can within the generous time limit. Objects can be hidden quite well, or simply hide in plain sight. Just tap any found object to add it to your collection.
The story unfolds through history, and Cleopatra, Einstein and Lincoln make appearances to help you with your quest. The graphics are highly detailed and developed, falling somewhere between realism and graphic novel in look. The controls are just screen taps, and they registered well with no glitches. The app keeps things interesting by adding a bubble pop mini game, which can be accessed via the main map and earns extra points and intrigue. Everything is very colorful and appealing.
The paid upgrades can be steep; I question any app that creates its own mach credit card system. These guys want you to take your play here seriously and make some real investments.
Time Gap Hidden Object Mystery is a very nicely developed hidden object game. There are oodles of levels to be conquered here, and satisfaction in watching your collection of found objects grow. Just be aware of the potential for ongoing cost to play this one.
