Review Adobe Reader
Indispensable for any device
Author: Vlad Popa
Date: 12 Apr 2017, tested on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo
Powerful functionality, convenient interface, no ads
It's not preinstalled on every device
If you are familiar with it for your PC then you will easily understand why Adobe Reader for Android is such a useful tool that you will end up wondering how you have used your device without it. It brings a lot of productivity tools in addition to a great PDF reader and document cloud storage.
The apps main interface is fairly basic, a side menu on the left side to select to view all or just recently opened PDF documents, access cloud storage, view your account or see the help menu. Right from the start you will notice how fluid the app is. Everything scrolls like a dream and the menus open without delay.
Once a file is open the first thing you will notice is that it is one of, if not the actual best and most fluid PDF reader out there, with a simple and intuitive interface that allows easy access to all the features. Just tap on the file you currently have open to bring up the menus. At the top of the screen you have the productivity features such as: bookmarking pages, exporting text from the file, searching in file and annotations, which allow you to highlight text, underline, add signatures, draw etc. Other controls such as pinch to zoom are really intuitive.
Adobe Reader is definitely a must have for every Android user. Whether you use it for school, business or personal reasons, it will become an indispensable productivity tool. The app has tons of other features, far too many to cover in a simple review so i encourage you to discover them by exploring the app.
