A Decent Knockoff

Well-balanced difficulty, one-finger controls
Very common, challenging controls, mediocre graphics
SoldierRun for Android is yet another variant on the Temple Run knockoffs that are out there. This one doesn't offer much unique over any of the others out there, other than this time, its a soldier in fatigues, running through kind of a combat training ground.
The concept behind SoldierRun is familiar in its simplicity - run like mad and don't go splat. Swipe left and right to choose alternate paths; swipe up or down to jump or duck obstacles. The physics is ok, and the graphics are decent. However, the controls aren't always responsive and sometimes cause me to lose the game because it doesn't register my gestures. Perhaps it's a lag issue, but it does effect the game play.
The sounds were just ok. And the graphics render well, but really don't offer much refinement.
ResumeSoldierRun is a decent game overall. But with so many entries in this category, it really doesn't offer much new or novel over other clones I've tried. It's just ok.
