Review 300: Seize Your Glory
Bloody game for all movie fans

Quality 3D graphics, exciting plot, addictive game play
No variance between levels, animation is a bit laggy
300: Seize Your Glory for Android brings all the blood, guts and glory of Sparta to your Droid. The play is dynamic but lacks variance. However, if you enjoy slashing bad guys and spilling blood, this game is for you.
300: Seize Your Glory makes the movie look G rated. The blood is gratuitous and spills by the gallon. The game takes place on a Spartan vessel; you're sailing the high seas with your trusty crew, en route to intercept other ships and do battle as you seize control and slash everything that moves. The game is exciting for a while, but then I soon realized that basically nothing else was going to happen except more of the same; attack another ship, slash more bad guys, then scream triumphantly at the top of your lungs, like any glorious Spartan would.
The graphics are highly detailed and I enjoyed all the dramatic lighting effects because it really added to the intrigue. When you save up enough power, you can unleash especially deadly blows, and the game is sure to change perspective and zoom up on the action so you can see each drop of blood that's spilled, in all its gory detail.
The controls are simple taps to slash, block with your shield and a virtual joystick for movement. The animation did stutter occasionally and the game ran my CPU hot overall.
300: Seize Your Glory is entertaining and fans of the film will surely find it hugely satisfying. But as a game, it needs a little more to it. Fun for a bit, but not much more than that.
