Review Yahoo Weather
A very simple and modern weather app

Nice interface, minimalist design
Widgets lag a bit
Yahoo Weather fro Android is a very basic, and nicely done weather app. The widgets are really good too but do lag when switching between locations.
Yahoo Weather believes in the power of simplicity. Right from the first open, the app immediately uses your GPS services to give forecasts on your current location. The presentation is very clean and modern. I love the font size and layout of the information presented because it's easy to read, even without glasses. It all feels very natural and intuitive. Adding new locations is as simple as entering a zip code; and switching between saved locations is just right to left swipes. The screens render smoothly and quickly and the layout is really nice.
I love the option to add stock images of the cities you have saved. The pictures are postcard quality and pictorial love letters to each locale. There are a host of widgets and I’m most fond of the ones that allow easy switching between saved locales and also integrate the postcard images. Some of the widgets did hang, but it wasn't horrible enough to steer me away from this very nicely presented app.
Yahoo Weather integrates all your favorite Yahoo services within the app so you can easily access and download companion apps. You can also log into your Yahoo account. Overall, this is a really nice weather app and I really like it a lot. It can even place the current temperature in your notification bar.
