Great app for new users
Doesn't look slick
EverythingMe Launcher for Android is an alternative launcher solution for those who are too lazy to organize their files. While thats not really the only reason to use EverythingMe Launcher - its the best reason. Besides simply organizing files, it attempts to make apps handy in rows - by using information about how many times you use apps. Then, there are also some cosmetic changes like having app folders have their own screens open up with the backgrounds from the launcher.
EverythingMe Lancher really feels perfect for people who have chaotic app collections and unorganized cosmetics on their phone. The app really sets itself up from the beginning. You simply enter in some information and then it analyzes all of your app and sorts them for your in a matter of seconds. It’s a cool process that for the most part works really well. All of my games were in games, and so on.
So an app like this is really a hit or a miss, depending on the audience. For me, I really like to have my apps organized in a particular fashion and location. EverythingMe just clusters everything together too much for my liking. For reviews I have all of my apps clustered together, and then I have games that I keep - but with this launcher, it smacks them together and even adds additional apps that I don’t have, that it wants me to download. They are basically ads, and its a crappy feature that is implemented into the app, regardless if you can get rid of them (not sure if you can - I couldn't figure it out).
EverythingMe Launcher doesn’t look that amazing. Sure it is cool seeing your apps organized into separate screens with appropriate backgrounds, but something about the experience doesn’t feel slick enough or modern to me. I could see this launcher being standard on some lower end phone.
