Review Drive Ahead!
Ridiculous, frustrating, yet so satisfying

Solid controls, dynamic gameplay, great aesthetic
Inconsistent physics, the random aspect has its flaws
I hate Drive Ahead! for Android. But I also love it. It's just one of those games that can really push all of your buttons in the best and worst ways possible. It puts players against each other in a face off to see who can smash the other player's head first. It's best of five and the key is that both players are inside randomly chosen vehicles. Mastering the physics to smash the other player's head proves to be a difficult task repeatedly.
What I love about the game is the entire concept. The gameplay is really fun and exhilarating. Nothing beats being behind by three points and then coming back to steal the game. I also really like the fact that unlocking things in the beginning is fast paced. The controls are pretty solid, too. I never found myself fighting with them.
What I didn't like about the game was the physics. There were times where I felt like I shouldn't have died because my vehicle performed in a different way than I had come to expect. I also didn't like the random aspect of the game. There are some cars that just have the advantage over the other and forces you to play entirely different when presented with that scenario. What I like is that gameplay is dynamic and varied depending on what vehicle you get, but being at a disadvantage means you're probably going to die, no doubt about it. This lead to a lot of frustration where I just felt like I was getting the short end of the stick.
Despite the shortcomings, something kept me coming back to Drive Ahead! The gameplay was just really fun even when it could be frustrating, and I also found the level design to be really great. I highly recommend this game.
